How Can You Use TripIt Account to Get the Most Out of RoadGoat?
RoadGoat is a social travel platform that lets users check-in to, bookmark, and get recommendations for travel destinations. Users can build a personal history of their travel progress by syncing travels from Facebook, Fitbit, TripIt, Instagram, Foursquare, and more. When you opt in to sync travels, either from your family vacations or business travels, we find the nearest city to each imported activity and add them to your traveler profile. Syncing your TripIt account to RoadGoat is an awesome way to visualize your travels, share your experience, and receive reviews from other travelers. Here’s How it Works
Get Started
- First, you’ll need to create your free RoadGoat profile.
- Next, access the Sync feature through the RoadGoat homepage, or locate the button on the top right of the website header.
- Once you’ve selected TripIt from the sync options, RoadGoat virtually “herds” your TripIt history across digital pastures, from one familiar platform to another.
- Fill any other places you may have been with our interactive map.
Review Your Progress
Our system will automatically detect the cities you may have missed marking on your map the first time around. Within seconds, we can map out your TripIt history. You might remember your first business trip in Kansas or a family vacation in the Bahamas. Whatever your booking records look like, take it easy and reminisce on your travels as it syncs up and populates your travel map. RoadGoat will automatically add these records to your map and profile.
