Strolling through town, you might walk past drag balls, vintage clothing boutiques and eye popping murals. For Neapolitan pizza that the New York Times practically raves about, swing by Porta Pizzeria.

Sea Isle City, New Jersey, US

For your college friends . . . Sea Isle City. If the night (and your friends) are young, Sea Isle City won’t disappoint. Ocean Drive Bar & Restaurant is Sea Isle City’s main attraction and hosts a variety of young and fun events from Piano Fight Club to the affectionately named Sandbar Happy Hour. Ocean Drive also is known for its No-Shower Happy Hour, where droves of patrons in wet bathing suits walk in straight off the beach on Saturdays from 4 to 8 PM. Make sure you don’t have to wake up earlier on Monday.

Ocean City, New Jersey, US

For your wholesome friends . . . Ocean City. Ocean City is known to be a dry town, so there’s no chance of FOMO or pressure to party in this Jersey spot. Wildwood, New Jersey, US

For your friends with multiple personalities . . . The “Wildwoods”. The “Wildwoods” consists of Wildwood, Wildwood Crest, and North Wildwood. Wildwood sits in the middle of the Crest and the north end. This section is known for its killer boardwalk that boasts amusement rides, doo-wop nostalgia, boardwalk shops and a lively nightlife. We recommend the grouper sandwich at the Dogtooth Bar & Grill for anyone who loves seafood. Man, is that a good sandwich.

Surf City, New Jersey, US

For your surfer friends . . . Long Beach Island. Called “LBI” by locals, this town is considered the Jersey surfer’s mecca.
